A farmer uses pesticides to keep harmful bugs away from his crops. the amount of pesticide used in an inverse variation of the percentage of bugs remaining on the crops. If he uses 5 gallons of pesticide per acre, 5% of the bugs remain. which equation describes this relationship? (let p denote the percentage of bugs and g denote the number of gallons used below.) a. p=1/4g b. p=4g c. p=1/4.g d. p=4/g
insert the p=0.05 and g=5 in all the equations given and find the one that fits;) if you still having trouble feel free to ask again;)
I don't understand
for example, take the b) answer \[p = 4g\] when you plug in p=0.05 and g=5 you get: 0.05 = 4*5 0.05 = 20 that is obviously not correct, so b) is not the correct answer. try the same procedure with the rest and find the one that fits;)
still confused
Yall are both incorrect, the correct anwser is |dw:1395277156228:dw|
