Please my brain is fried I WILL GIVE OUT A MEDAL AND FAN WHO EVER HELPS ME THANK YOU [7.02] Explain, in your own words, the step-by-step process to simplifying the expression below. Include the simplified answer in your explanation. (8x^2 + 5) − (3x^2 − x + 7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well when you add or subtract polynomials, you add/subtract like terms together (the x^2's with the x^2's and the x's with the x's, thats it)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to expand the - sign. \[8x ^{2} + 5 -3x ^{2} +x -7\] From here you simplify like terms. than you should get the rest.
