Opendstudy is fantastic, but I was wondering, is there any way that there could be more supervision on the chat areas?

The only way to have more supervision on the chat is assigning more moderators, since they're the only one who actually can do something about the current problems in the chat.

Also a specialized chat-mod would be a good idea too, people who control the chat and take action when there are trolls and spammers, by kicking them off the chat and giving them warnings.

Also the chat needs some more restrictions, like a post limit to prevent spamming 1000 posts in 1 minute. Also disabling the ability to chat when an account isn't verified by email is a great idea.

do you know you can report users when anything inappropriate is going on in chat ?
reporting will grab moderator's attention :)

awesome. about that, why/how do people have titles next to their names like lord, ambassador, moderator, etc.? If anyone can answer....

Lord is just a personal title you can give yourself when you're a subscriber.
Abassadors help new users with getting to know the site a little better.
Moderators control the site by taking action against people who violate the code of conduct.

@hartnn reporting trolls and spammers in the chat is usually not very effective because it will take some time before a mod will notice or respond to the report and by that time the damage is already done.
