A popular social networking website wants to upgrade its webpage design, but it is unsure how its audience would respond to the change. What is the best step for the website to take in order to gauge the target audience’s response if it wants to limit the risk of alienating the entire target audience?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A.It should release the design to the company’s employees and elicit feedback before releasing it to everyone. B.It should release the design to a few design experts and make a decision based on their comments. C.It should release the design to one member of its target audience and elicit feedback before releasing it to everyone. D.It should release the design to all the members of its target audience and hope for the best. E.It should release the design to a small number of randomly chosen members of its target audience and elicit feedback before releasing it to everyone.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

weve already been over this one

OpenStudy (amistre64):

tell me which one makes the most sense to you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i commented on it you said that theres it would be ludicrous if they showed alot of people and a one person so it has to be a few people so i was thinking B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B does

OpenStudy (amistre64):

A and B have no reference to the target audience ... so trying to determine how the target audience with those is pointless

OpenStudy (anonymous):

E?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes, test it out with a small test group of the target audinece and judge their responses

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hw about this one, i got 0/4 on these ones

OpenStudy (amistre64):

spose you want to determine if you should see a movie: you can either: ask people who have never seen it ask 1 person who has seen it ask everybody who has seen it ask a reasonable group of people who have seen it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

reasonable group

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would that one be B that i just sent you

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats all the first one was asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sems like the most reasonable and yea i never looked at it that way

OpenStudy (amistre64):

come on now, we are not running a free answering service here. You have to be able to explain why you choose something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its A because it involves the pre-existing condition of the subjects. Its asking a study on the health of people who have been exposed to radiation and those who have not been exposed to radiation. Which of these methods of obtaining data should you most likely adopt and why? You wouldn't want to expose someone to radiation in an experiment.
