I completely forgot how to do this, Solve the system by using the substitution method. y=4-x 2x-3y=-2

OpenStudy (harsimran_hs4):

from 1st eq substitute the value of y in 2nd eq solve for y and tell me what you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@harsimran_hs4 so it would be 2x-3(4-x)=-2 ?

OpenStudy (harsimran_hs4):

yes so find x from this equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and so I get 2x-12+3x=-2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (harsimran_hs4):

yes...go ahead you are doing it right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, so the the answer would be (2,2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got it, i just added something wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good job :)

OpenStudy (harsimran_hs4):
