This one is a little trickier because you need to find the rise over run. First, notice the general shape. Since the lines on it are diagonal and opposite each other on the y-axis, it is an Absolute Value function. It is upside down, meaning that it is the negative of the Absolute Value function. Since they are not perfectly diagonal, you need the rise/run. In this case it is 2/1, or just 2, and that is your slope. Finally since the vertex is at +1, you add 1.
