I'm assuming you know about Plessy Vs Ferguson- the case that led to the Jim Crow Laws. The jim crow laws stated that segregation was "separate" but equal". Especially in the south, segregation was dangerous and DEFINITELY UNEQUAL. African Americans were treated like dogs. If you post the rest of the question I may be able to help.
