Which of the following best describes the President of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis? A. Though not a fanatic on the issue of slavery, he adamantly supported Southern life, which he defended at the national level B. A slavery fanatic who would do anything to maintain the South’s right to have slaves, including destroying the United States C. An egomaniac who wanted to serve as President of the Confederacy to advance his personal agendas D. A leader who used his charisma and interpersonal skills to make up for his lack of devotion to the Confederacy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's not D because he was the Confederate president.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A or B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I were you i'd go with B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no dosent sound right i meant to put a or c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because if you look up his back ground he wasnt really willing to destroy the u.s he wanted to support southern living

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH! It's A!. it's a misleading question because it says " not a fanatic on the issue of slavery". So it must be A because he supported the south and didn't think slavery was an issue.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry for the confusion, but im 97 percent sure it's A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its fine . great minds think a-like ;)
