Layla has allotted $76 for gifts while on vacation. She plans to buy a souvenir for her parents for $16 and spend the rest on 4 T-shirts for her friends. If x represents the price, in dollars, of a T-shirt, which inequality correctly represents the money Layla will spend on souvenirs? 4x + 16 ≤ 76 16x + 4 ≤ 76 4x + 16 ≥ 76 16x + 4 ≥ 76 HEPL PLEASE

4x = 4 t-shirts then $16 to spend on a gift for her parents. so \[4x + 16 \le 76\]

Since Layla put aside 76 bucks for buying gifts. She cannot spend more than $76. There fore you can tell that the inequality sign is ____ Cross out the other inequality signs. You already know that she spent $16 dollars for her parents. And that she bought 4 t-shirts for her friends. What you don't know is how much each t-shirt cost. And we substitute numbers we don't know with an variable ( x, n, p, etc) Therefore, if you put together the numbers and variable, you'll be able to get your answer. ^^ Im not good with explaining stuff, but i hope this helps.
