Does this make sense?

Work = Fd, The work done on two charges/dipoles(Repulsive force). A charge A and B are placed near each other like so: |dw:1373425475322:dw| There is a repulsive force between them of X. The work done over a displacement "d" = Xd :|dw:1373425577602:dw| So, work is done on both charges A and B because the repulsive force was applied, but what if A was fixed? Hence F = X and d = 0? Work is only done on B? |dw:1373425738206:dw| Is work still the same on B or increased? w for A is = to zero?
