Because of this, our founding fathers did not turn to the bible for creating our country. It also gave us our fundamental ideas of banishing tyranny. At that point, they were being ruled over with an iron fist by the king of England, even though they were born here. It is the foundation of the principles that our country was born on to help fight tyranny and opression.
