Here is what I have and think. Is this right? determmine of the sets of vectors are dependent of independent. [3,1,4],[-2,1,-1] 3 -2 1 0 1 1 rref = 0 1 4 -1 0 0 which tells me we dont have any free variables aka they are independent

But where the question comes into play is that i have a rank 1 matrix (i think) which should mean i have 1 unknown which would make them dependent. . . according to some therom in the book
