terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Probability = number of 'good' outcomes divided by total number of outcomes...

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Now, what's the total number of outcomes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9+6+3+2+1+3 = 24 24 is the total number of players there are 9 flute players so your odds are 9/24 which can be reduced to 3/8
