If a line crosses the y-axis at (0, -4) and has a slope of -2, what is the equation of the line? 2x − y = -4 2x + y = -4 2x + y = 4 2x − y = 4

OpenStudy (phi):

have you heard of slope-intercept form ? y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept (y value when x is 0) they give you m and b, so you can write down the equation. then use algebra to put the equation in standard form (to match your choices)
