How might you eliminate the x-term from the top equation? 15x+7y=4 5x+7y=2 would you have to 1.Add the bottom equation to the top equation 2.Multiply the bottom equation by two before subtracting it from the top equation. 3.Subtract the bottom equation from the top equation. 4.Multiply the bottom equation by three before subtracting it from the top equation. :)
