y=cos([1-e^2x]/[1+e^2x])

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are you asked to do?

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

so what's your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Differentiate......

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

let the thing inside cos be f(x) than y'=-f'(x)*sin(f(x)) Can you diff. f(x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

( -2e^e)/ ( 2e^x )........

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got -sin (-e^x +e^3x)/(1+e^2x) ( 2e^x) for an answer..... I think its wrong....

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

no "3x" anywhere!

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

f'(x)=((-2*(1+e^2x)*e^2x)-2(1-e^2x)*e^2x)/(1+e^2x)^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, it would be e^2x....
