A 1.0cm -diameter rod carries a 55A current when the electric field in the rod is 1.6V/m .What is the resistivity of the rod material?

OpenStudy (souvik):

use ohm's rule.. V=IR [V=voltage difference , I=current ,R=resistance] \[E*l=I*\rho \frac{ l }{ A }\] where l=length of the wire, A= the cross section of the wire and \(\rho \)=resistivity of the rod material..
