I.e. For basic quadratic equations, either it has a minimum point or a maximum point.

1) For quadratic equations with minimum points, the extreme points of the graph which tend to positive and negative infinity wil have values as such, and if maximum is defined as infinite values of y, then yes.

2) For quadratic equations with maximum points, its obvious that it has maximums.
