if you roll one dice and it lands on 6, what is the percent chance of you rolling a 6 on another roll?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Possible outcomes = 6 Probability of rolling 6 = 1/6 Probability of rolling consecutive 6s = (1/6)(1/6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks.

OpenStudy (kropot72):

The outcome of the first roll has no effect on the outcome of the second roll. Therefore the probability of rolling a six on a second roll is 1/6. Now you just need to convert 1/6 to a percentage.
