Find the area of the triangle. A = 1/2 b h. Simplify to the simplest polynomial form. explain: see attachment!

We know that the area of a triangle is given by: \[\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }bh\] From the figure, we can see that base and height are given:\[\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }(2x+2)(7x-3)\] Factoring out a 2 and cancelling it out with 1/2:\[=\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }2(x+1)(7x-3)\] \[=>(x+1)(7x-3)\] Multiply out and reduce:\[=7x^2-3x+7x-3\] \[=>7x^2+4x-3\] I hope it makes sense.
