Point of view influences what we know about characters and the story. Using either “Was It a Dream?” or “The Pomegranate Seeds,” explain the point of view used and discuss how it affected your understanding of the character or the events of the story. Provide examples and be sure to explain your thoughts. Answer in complete sentences.

OpenStudy (geneticrockhopper247):

There are three major points of view in writing: first person, third person limited, and third person omniscient. If you have first person point of view, you can see relationships and thoughts through the eyes of a single character (the narrator). With third person limited, you have the pronouns of he and she and they and you can see the universal actions of the characters without the limitation of a narrator or a flashback having to fill in the blanks. With third person omniscient, he, she, they, etc. are still used, but any character's thoughts and feelings are used without limitations. I have not read these stories, but I hope this helps a little bit as a guide to go by.
