Another suggestion: Another thing which OpenStudy is lacking are privacy settings. Most sites allow certain settings which (for example), hide your profile page, make it uncrawlable by search engines, and deactivating your account- though none of these features are available on OpenStudy. This is something else that I'd like to see when OpenStudy gets new admins.
Nice Thinking @dumbsearch2
Thanks @Loujoelou :)
i agree :\
Ya @Zale101 :]
Is there a reason why this is not permitted yet by OS
It just hasn't been done yet...
probably
probably? obviously ;)
Maybe they thought that askers might get curious to see how smart the answerer is by looking at his/her profile. Check if he/she is still a student, graduate, or a teacher.
I've had that happen 2 me a lot @Zale101
Still, you should be able to make it private from search engines
That one is true
yeah some people don't want others 2 see their info :)
that's why i cleared my profile
But there's always a title next to your username that informs us how helpful are you (Mentor, champion, rookie, lifesaver and so on) so there's no need to keep profiles public for others to check.
thumbs up @dumbsearch2
Thats Would Be So Great :)
