Lets check it out. 3 < 5 now lets subtract 2 from both sides 1 < 3 The symbol did not change.
I think it stays the same; it only changes if you divide or multiply by a negative number.
It only changes when you divide my a negative number.

Take the same example; 3<5 lets multiply by -2 -6<-10 Not true must reverse the inequalituy symbol -6>-10 Now thats true.
