What is the volume of the cone to the nearest whole number? https://nafccsd3647-fchs-ccl.gradpoint.com/Resource/1998126,72F,0,0,0,0,0/Assets/testitemimages/geometry_b/surface_area_and_volume/mc090-1.jpg

OpenStudy (raden):

use the formula : Volume = 1/3 * base area * height

OpenStudy (anonymous):

volume = 1/3 x pi x r x h = 1/3 x pi x 38 x 90 = 3581 cm cubed to the nearest whole number. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry small correction. it would be 1/3 x pi x r x r x h = 136094 to the nearest whole number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay.. That answer seems more reasonable. :P Thanks (:

OpenStudy (raden):

hmmm.. my calculator told 136024.8 --"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh really..? Well, either something is wrong with your calculator or you had a small mistake.. I tried what Shanzay said and got the same answer..

OpenStudy (raden):

hmm.. i tried once again, just stil 136024.8 maybe my calculator is sick :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, maybe :P
