they get to -2x ≥ 24 it looks like their next step is to divide both sides by -2 if you divide or multiply by a negative number, you have to switch the ≥ to ≤ example with numbers: 2 ≥ -24 is true. if we multiply by -1 (or divide) we get -2 ≥ -(-24) or -2 ≥ 24 which is not true. we have to flip the relation operator to -2 ≤ 24 is that enough info to answer the question ?
