Which sequence can be represented by the expression 7n? 84, 77, 70, 63,… 2, 9, 16, 22,… 7, 14, 21, 28,… 1, 7, 14, 21,… Im confused.. i dont know what n is so i dont know how to do it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

84, 77, 70, 63,… The next number is 7 less, so the pattern is -7 (84-7n) 2, 9, 16, 22,… The next number is 7 more, pattern is +7 (2+7n) 7, 14, 21, 28,… The next number is also 7 more, pattern is +7 (7+7n) 1, 7, 14, 21,… The next number is 7 more, pattern is +7 (1+7n) alternatively, if n cannot be 0, then pattern is 7n

7n where n = 1, 2, 3, 4, .... is {7, 14, 21, 28, ...}
