\[C=\pi d\]\[C_{arc}={\theta\over360}\pi d\]where \(\theta\) is the angle measure of the arc, in this case 140 since 40+140=180, and d is the diameter so:\[C_{arc}={140\over360}\times\pi\times(10)\] so just solve that and you'll find your answer :)
