My guess is B.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

C. was forced to give up control of Cuba after Cuba declared independence and the Treaty of Paris was signed, more specifically

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

so the answer is C.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

do you understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (tardis):

Nope, it's definitely C. B is partially right but it's more likely that the question has to do with Cuba seeing how that's what is normally emphasized in history class when discussing the Spanish-American War.
