find the equation of an ellipse. center is at origin, a=5 b=7 and the major axes is parallel to y-axis.

Major axis is parallel to the y-axis, so this ellipse is vertically oriented. So, the larger number (b= 7) will be in the denominator of the y^2 term: x^2/5^2 + y^2/7^2 = 1 or x^2/25 + y^2/49 = 1
