First blank: find something similar to intense
Second blank: find something which is similar to express (human nature could be expressed)

C is out: docile is opposite to intense
AD is out: ousted and censured do not mean expressed

I have noticed a lot of teachers will do that.  Some multiple choice wrong answers are outright silly.  But they say a little good humor can help stimulate the brain.  Joggle things.  Get things going better.
