7. How many 4 digit number can be made using 0 -7 with no repeated digits allowed? A) 5040 B) 4536 C) 2688 D) 1470
I am getting the answer as 1680, which is none of the choices. Doesn't make sense.
@whpalmer4
Number of digits from 0 to 7 = 8. Ways: 8 x 7 x 6 x 5 (note the subsequent numbers are -1 cos theres no repeat) Got 1680 also
Weird no? This is for my elearning Unit 5 test and the answer I am getting is apparently not a choice lol...
what are the choices?
I already listed them lol.
sorry, so you did, that had already scrolled out of sight!
Is there something I don't see? 0.0
Yes, I think there is :-) 0 4 digit numbers don't get to start with 0. That means there are 7 choices for the first digit, 7 for the second, 6 for the third, 5 for the fourth = 7*7*6*5 = another one of your answer choices
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I thought it was funny that you said "Is there something I don't see? 0.0" :-)
