Can anyone guide me though this please?(: Let f(x) = x2 + 3x - 4 and g(x) = x + 5. Find f(x) • g(x).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im pretty sure its just \[(x ^{2}+3x-4)(x+5)\] which is \[(x+4)(x-1)(x+5)\] after you factorise it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these are the answer choices.. x3 + 3x2 + 16x - 20 x3 + 5x2 + 14x - 20 x3 + 8x2 + 11x - 20 x3 + 9x2 + 19x - 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you just expand \[x ^{3}+5x ^{2}+3x ^{2}+15x-4x+20\] \[x ^{3}+8x ^{2}+11x+20\]

my bad its -20

thanks so much!
