First use the following rule of logarithms \[k \log_{b} c=\log_{b} c ^{k}\] to get rid of the coefficient before both terms. Then use the rule of logarithms \[\log_{b} e+\log_{b} f=\log_{b} (e \times f)\] to form a single logarithm.
