OpenStudy (tkhunny):

you're going to need the equation of the line. (-2, 0) and (0, 3) What's the chance you know the Intercept Form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know the Intercept Form

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Too bad. Everyone should. I'll show it to you, just for fun, and we can see if you want to deal with it. We are given the x-intercept (-2,0) and the y-intercept (0,3). We can then simply write the equation of the line in Intercept Form \(\dfrac{x}{-2} + \dfrac{y}{3} = 1\) What do you think? Too easy?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Just solve for y and you're on your way or put it in any other form with which you are familiar.
