please help!! Look at the following number sequence. 3, 11, 19, 27, . . . Based on the pattern, what are the next two terms? 216, 1728 35, 43 31, 40 43, 51 11. A rectangle has a base of 2 yd and a height of 5 ft. Find the area of the rectangle. 10 yd2 30 yd2 10 ft2 30 ft2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

35 and 43 would be the next terms as there is a difference of 8 between the terms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your second question has a error as you know that the rectangle is a 2-D figure so it can only have lenghth and bredth but can't have height, but if height is bredth then simply multiply the two i.e. length and bredth you'll get the area.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is no figure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it must be bredth, just multiply both with proper unit convention i.e. convert one of yard or ft. to other and multiply.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know what aproper unit convention i.e. convert one of yard or ft. to other and multiply. is..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 yard = 6 ft i.e. 30 ft^2 is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now got it ??? or still confusion??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with some more question please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure tell me what they are ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look at the table. Make a conjecture about the sum of the first 30 positive even numbers. The sum is 30 × 30. The sum is 31 × 32. The sum is 30 × 31. The sum is 29 × 30.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i didn't get your question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what you want to ask??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ignore the 1st problem in the 2nd line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you want the sum of first twenty even no.s?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
