what is the solution to \sqrt{x+2}

How would we find the solution without knowing what x is?

It is graphing square root functions I have no idea

Well, if you mean y= \sqrt(x+2) Then you would start by plugging in x as 0, then calculating it, then graphing a point at (0, \sqrt (2)) etc.
