solve a=nr+4t for t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[t=\frac{1}{4} (a-n r) \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a = nr + 4t (subtract nr from both sides) a - nr = 4t (now divide by 4) (a - nr)/4 = t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both answers are the same

Using @kelliegirl33's method almost allows one to solve for t by eyeball. Move 4t to the LHS and then divide each side by 4.
