-2/x = 6 solve for u

OpenStudy (magbak):

their is no u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where is the u ?

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Solve for me?

OpenStudy (magbak):

I can solve for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the x should be a u

OpenStudy (magbak):

Ok

OpenStudy (magbak):

Multiply both sides by x/2 and that gives you the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you multiply both sides by -1/2 ?

thomaster (thomaster):

\(\dfrac{-2}{u}=6\) I'd just multiply both sides by u \(-2=6u\) and then divide -2 by 6 which will give you \(-\dfrac{1}{3}\)
