What is the equation of a horizontal line passing through the point (–7, 5)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if we are looking for a horizontal line that mean that the y will never change so lets look at our coordinates (-7,5) since we know our y will never change so we know that our equation will have a 5 in it. and since it does not matter what x is the equation will be \[y = 5\] i hope this helped you
