OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Let C be Coach Johnson's age now Let T be Tim's age now Coach is 10 years older than Tim: C = 10 + T Tim's age 3 years ago : T-3 Twice Tim's age 3 years ago: 2(T-3) Coach's age 3 years ago: C-3 Set those last two expressions equal to each other and solve for T. Use the first equation to write Coach's age in terms of Tim's.
