Directrix (directrix):

f composite g can be written as f of g(x) or f(g(x). Look at f(x) = 3x. F takes whatever is within the parenthesis and multiples that by 3. So x goes into f and 3x comes out.

Directrix (directrix):

F is going to do the same thing to G. f(g(x) = f(2x^2 - 3x + 6). So f takes (2x^2 - 3x + 6) and multiplies the entire "thing" by 3. So, f(g(x) = 3 (2x^2 - 3x + 6). @Talyababyy Your Task: Multiply this out: 3 (2x^2 - 3x + 6)

15??

Directrix (directrix):

I do not see any numerical values of x given in the problem. So, 3 (2x^2 - 3x + 6) = 3 times 2x^2 plus 3 times negative x plus 3 times 6 according to the Distributive Property.

Directrix (directrix):

6x^2 - 9x + 18 = f(g(x) Check that work. 15?? --> How did you get that? @Talyababyy
