In logic, the law of detachment works with the statement "P implies Q". The law basically states that if you know the first part is true (P), then Q must be true. Just because she can go to the concert doesnt mean she can afford the ticket. Part P , Part Q I can go to the concert if I can afford to buy a ticket.
