how to consider a partial fraction type like integrand having for numerator dx only,how to handle this dx, espacially if the power of the denominator is > than that of numerator(dx).thanks

mehod 1
divide the numerator by the denominator and then apply the partial fraction technique on the remaider over the denominator

suppose the power of the numerator is greater than that of the denominator by 2 say
then express
numerator as
numerator = A x^2(denominator)+Bx(denominator)+C(denominator) +D(diif. of the denominator ) +E , where A,B,C ,D,E are constant which is to be found out..
