find the least value of the expression 2log(base10)x-log (basex)0.01 for x>1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What does find the least value expression mean

OpenStudy (sumi29):

If by the least value, you mean the minimum, then it can be obtained by simply differentiating the equation and equating it to zero to find the inflection point, and then substituting this point in the original equation to get the minimum value. This is, of course, assuming that the function even has a minima.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

It does have a minimum for x>, and @sumi29's method will find it.
