This one is not that hard.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am a prime number. Double of myself is equal to the square of myself. What number am I ?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

3

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

2

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

wait hold up... lol thats what i meant :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he got it......answer 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that was to easy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will have to find trickier ones

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

lol good job i can't believe it i totes knew that :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol....

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Here's one, what is 1 divided by 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 0 ?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

No

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

nooo you can't divide anything by zero its undefined

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0/1.....hmmmm.....is it what Jamie said ?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

well, you can divide zero, but you can divide anything with zero

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

not 0/1, I asked 1/0?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

undefined

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I give up...what is it

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Division by 0 is undefined :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jamie got it.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good one

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Yep.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

ha at least i typed that one correctly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes you did...lol

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

lesson learned:don't type too fast :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so true

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Now comes the hard question: Why can you never divide by 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not sure....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it is undefined

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

That is true^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool...I got one

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

isn't it because a fraction is supposed to be a ratio between two integers and with 0 as a denominator, does not satisfy this condition? idk

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

That^ is true also.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good job jamie

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

or any attempt at a definition would lead to a contradiction or somehting thats what my teacher always said...

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

thx @kelliegirl33 :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I a gonna find some more

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

This is a GREAT question to learn from.

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

it really is

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Dividing by 0 would mean multiplying by the reciprocal of 0.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats true

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

But 0 has no reciprocal, because 0 times any number is 0, not 1.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Therefore, division by 0 has no meaning in the set of real numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you could be a teacher

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am gonna find some more questions......c ya later

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

later
