Most scholars believe that Shakespeare wrote Henry VI, Part One between 1589 and 1590.

And for reference, it is not "when did shakepeare wrote the first book?"

When asking, you use "When did Shakespeare write the first book?"

Just one key off on the keyboard between wrote and write, and usually I would not mention it.  However, since this is the English section, I thought I would point it out.
