Can someone give me an idea on what to include in a data flow diagram of a Library Borrowing System? Thanks

I would suggest that you run through the borrowing process in your mind (go borrow a book if you haven't had the experience) and start with the simple exchange and expand from there.
You know at a bare minimum there will be:
a request for a book,
do they have it (y/n),
borrow the book or make another request.
