stuck again? Simplify completely quantity 2 x squared plus 16 x plus 30 all over quantity 5 x squared plus 13 x minus 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for nominator I got 2(x^2+8x+15) but idk how to get the denominator..

OpenStudy (raden):

for the denominator it can be factored : (5x - 2)(x + 3) now can you factor out the numerator ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I'm so lost, how did you even get that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 open parentheses x plus 5 close parentheses over quantity 5 x minus 2 is this the answer?

OpenStudy (raden):

5x^2 + 13x - 6 factor of 5x^2 is 5x times x so, 5x^2 + 13x - 6 = (5x .... )(x .....) factor of -6 = -2 * 3 or 2 * -3 i choice -2 * 3 to fill ..... in parantheses above so, it is (5x - 2)(x + 3). because if you expand it would becomes back to 5x^2 + 13x - 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is my answer wrong?

OpenStudy (raden):

i dont know (yet), before you write the factor of numerator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im lost again
