Martin traveled m miles at the rate of r miles per hr and arrived at his destination 1 hr late. How much time should he allow himself to make this trip again and arrive on time? (A) M -- +1 r (B) m-r ----- r (C) m-r (D) m-r-1 (D) m+r ---- r I chose A...but im now im not too sure if it's correct.

He should allow 1 more hour than the time he used before. Using the equation s=vt, we know the total time he used was m/r. but in order to be 1 h earlier, he should give 1 h hour. so it should be m/r+1
