3*3=9 5+6=11 9*10^11 which would be 90,000,000,000- this is where i get confused with how many zeros

You have a '9' with '11' zeros to the right of it because the 11 is positive.

Yes, however you separate your zeros in groups of 3 from right to left, giving you 900,000,000,000
